No. A jumpstart gets the engine running. It does not fix the underlying fault. This is why we run a full diagnostic after every jumpstart — CCA test, alternator output, and parasitic drain measurement. You leave knowing the actual cause: whether the battery needs replacing, whether the alternator isn’t charging, or whether there’s a drain pulling power overnight. A jumpstart without a diagnostic is half a service.
How long does a jumpstart take from when you arrive?
The jumpstart itself takes 5 to 10 minutes from terminal connection to engine running. The diagnostic that follows takes 15 to 20 minutes. If the battery needs replacing after the diagnostic, add 15 to 25 minutes for the replacement. Can you jumpstart in a basement car park?
Yes. Basement jumpstart calls are the most common scenario we attend. Our professional lithium jump starters do not require a second vehicle — we connect directly to your battery terminals with no exhaust emissions in an enclosed space. We carry portable lighting for low-level car parks. Give us the building name, parking level, and bay number. Advise security if escort access is required so we’re not delayed at the gate.
Do you charge extra for jumpstarts at night or on weekends?
No. The price confirmed on the phone is the price at your car — always. No after-hours surcharge, no weekend premium, no call-out fee. The same AED 99 jumpstart rate applies at 3pm on a Tuesday and at 3am on Eid Al Fitr. If a battery replacement follows, the jumpstart fee is included in the replacement price — you are not charged twice.
My car started after the jump but died again within an hour. What now?
This points to one of two things — either the battery cannot hold charge (it needs replacing) or the alternator is not recharging after start. Both are detectable during the post-jump diagnostic. If you had a jumpstart elsewhere without a diagnostic and the car has died again, call us — we’ll come to your new location and run the full test. The post-jump diagnostic is included in the AED 99 jumpstart price.
Can you jumpstart any vehicle?
We jumpstart all standard 12V vehicles — Japanese, Korean, European, American, heavy-duty SUVs, and light commercial vehicles. For vehicles with 48V mild-hybrid systems, we follow the manufacturer-specified jump start procedure to avoid triggering safety lockouts or damaging the mild-hybrid unit.
